    About us

“You had me at metal and data”.

We met in beautiful San Diego, California, bonded instantly over heavy metal music and our shared obsession with data (yes, data). And about that heavy metal part, well, our name probably gave that away. We’ll let you interpret it however you want.

All of that thrashing energy and our absolute love for Airtable, brought us here, we started the Airtoken Group.

We are here to level up your business operations. We live for intelligent simplicity, and finding a better path for your team to really get after it. We aren’t afraid to dive into the messiest spreadsheets or the most chaotic data challenges. Throw it at us, we’ll turn it into something beautifully powerful.

Do you feel disconnected with your data, your teams? Not sure where to start or feel completely lost in your work? Not Perfect, but perfect. That’s our favorite place to begin.

And if you’re in North County San Diego, let us know! We’ll bring the In-N-Out burgers to our first meeting, because great data deserves great company (and great food). Let’s go!

    Scott Gardner

    Co-founder & Business Operations

Born in Boston, Massachusetts, Scott grew up in a small seaport town. Early on, there were two possible paths: chasing the dream of becoming a professional golfer or becoming a head chef in French cuisine. As it turned out, neither of those things quite worked out.

After a quick stint in college, Scott went on to spend over 17 years with TaylorMade Golf and True Temper Sports before making the pivot to the board game industry. And with that, he has yet to ever even play Monopoly.

Now, a business owner, with Airtoken, and awkwardly obsessed with Airtable.

Scott is married and lives in San Diego with his family. A devoted Boston Bruins fan, and he still rocks his vintage Linkin Park Hybrid Theory CD in his car, yes a CD (Compact Disc).
